Who is Keith Edwards?

My interest in magic began at the age of 14 years old after receiving a magic set as a gift from my parents. I didn’t know too much about magic, or where to start meeting fellow magicians. I searched the internet for Irish magicians – This is how i meet famous magician Keith Barry from Ireland. I went to the “Society of Irish Magicians” club in Dublin when there was a meeting on and meet other magicians that night.
Since leaving the magic club that night.
I started performing at childrens birthday parties and at school.At lunchtime in my school canteen, I took out a packet of  cards Then got a card signed by a fellow student, placed the card in the centre of the pack and I wrapped the deck in rubber bands and  tossed the pack of cards up into the air and the signed card stuck to the ceiling Everyone was gobsmacked.  It was the talk of the school for weeks and the card stayed there for years! this was in 2005.
Summer 2007, i got a job to work as a magician in the “House of Illusion” in Salou, Spain for the summer season. We performed two shows each night that included close up magic at each table, illusions,Comedy, mind reading and stand up shows. It was a great experience working with other professional magicians.This is where I learnt my craft of performing magic and audience control and over the summer we performed over 300 shows with the  experience of working sound and lighting for the shows and promoting the shows at welcome meetings.
                            The summer of 2009 I have toured with with comedy hypnotist Michael McCoy through out Ireland from Donegal,Belfast,Antrim to Waterford and Cork.
 I was the support act before Michael came on for 30 minutes with magic and mindreading and crowds up to 300 people.
From 2006-2010 I've performed at Christmas party nights in the Westenra Hotel, Co. Monaghan. This involves doing Close up magic at each table before and after the meal.
Performing magic is my passion and I love performing at a variety of venues and to see the look of amazement  in people’s eyes after I do some magic for them.

In 2009, we wanted to expand the services that was offered. I always had a big interested in music so I spent time with one of ireland best DJ's and now my mentor in djing and invested in top of the range equipment. We now offer your full nights entertainment from starting the evening's fun with close up magic and the ''dangerous stunt performance'' followed by a disco.
